Can you mix stucco and fibre cement on one elevation?

Yes, and it is one of the most common requests we get for Edmonton infills. The critical detail is a metal transition flashing with a proper drip at every horizontal change — never a caulked butt joint.

Which finishes hold up best in Alberta?

Fibre cement and quality acrylic stucco both perform very well here. Real stone is excellent but heavy and slow. We steer clients away from anything that relies on sealant alone to keep water out.

Do you handle exterior colour selection?

We will narrow it down with you and mock it up on the actual wall. For whole-house schemes we are happy to work alongside your designer.

Can you finish an exterior an existing contractor started?

Often, yes — but we will inspect and document what is already there first, and we will only warrant our own work.

Modern Alberta elevations rarely use one material. Panel meets stone, stucco meets cedar, metal meets board. Those transitions are where water gets in and where a build stops looking custom — so we treat them as the main event, not the trim work.

Acrylic stucco, stacked and cut stone, fibre cement panel, metal panel and cedar — specified together so textures and sheens do not fight each other.

Panel layouts are set out to minimise off-cuts at visible corners, so the joint pattern reads deliberate rather than leftover.

We coordinate directly with your architect, designer or builder and work from elevations where they exist.
